Best Buy/Geek Squad Honored with Corporate Technology Leadership AwardLumity is proud to recognize Best Buy/Geek Squad with the Corporate Technology Leadership Award for 2011. Best Buy was a natural choice for this honor due to its continued commitment to Chicago’s nonprofits and communities in need via the @15 program, employee engagement in underserved communities, and for its leadership role with Chicago Career Tech.
This year, Best Buy Children’s Foundation donated $2 million via community grants to provide positive experiences to help teens excel in school, engage in their communities, and develop leadership skills. In addition to these grants, local Best Buy and Geek Squad employees donate their time, talent, and in-kind resources to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of nonprofits and schools targeting communities in most need.
Best Buy is most deserving of our admiration and appreciation and it is with great pleasure that we present them with this tribute.
